PORN will not decide the HD format war

I keep seeing this pop up all over the place and have a succinct response to this. Please spread the word:

WHY PORN DECIDED THE LAST FEW FORMAT WARS:
They found the cheapest and quickest way to get as much porn into the hands of consumers as possible. Consumers no longer had to go to theaters and the industry could now crank out hundreds of films a week and sell them immediately instead of making prints and making small-change off of a handful of showings a day.

WHY PORN WILL NOT DECIDE THIS WAR:
Internet porn. It's FREE for fuck's sake and anonymous. Only the government knows. And the guy that watches you through the window. And now the porn industry doesn't have to produce any hard materials. Just slap the digital feed online and collect the cash.

Now you're an expert in case anyone ever brings it up again.
