Countdown to TV-Time

So we had a chance to check out a few of the pilots for the Fall and Pushing Daisies and Reaper are definitely worth checking out. Daisies is a great little comedy about a guy who can touch people and they come back to life until he touches them again. The story-telling style is very similar to the fantastic elements of, say, James & the Giant Peach, Big Fish or Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. Paul Reubens was just cast to join the show as well.

Reaper is an awesome comedy about a loser kid who works at Costco who finds out on his 21st birthday that his parents sold his soul to the Devil and now he has to work for him collecting escaped souls (i.e. demons with different powers). The Devil is played by Ray Wise and reminds me of The Mayor from Buffy. Good stuff! There's tons of other shows starting, so I figure I'll check some pilots out and see what's what.
