Rest in peace, my fiendish friend.
For as long as I can remember, I have been a television addict. Being a child in the 70's and 80's was the best time EVER for kids, especially those with TVs. Everything from Muppets to Scooby-Doo to Transformers ruled my world. But my all-time favorite show was Batman. You can bet your ass I was there at the same Bat-Time and same Bat-Channel everyday of the week. In fact, I quit soccer, baseball, basketball, track, softball AND Cub Scouts because the practice/meetings interfered with my TV time. If I had TiVo back then, I would probably have been a little more active, but such was not the case. Anyway, Frank Gorshin's embodiment of The Riddler was played with maniacal glee and joined the wonderous ranks of West's Batman, Ward's Robin, Romero's Joker and Meredith's Penguin. Pure genius.
